I am very excited this conference is finally happening but unfortunately the dates co-incide with an open studio's event I am part of so I am unable to attend. Will there be papers or discussions from this conference posted after?Thank you
Hi Linda,Thanks for asking this here - I'll answer here and on Facebook for the benefit of other folks: we have made arrangements for some of the papers to be published as a book after the conference is over. Sign up on our mailing list for email announcements to be sure to hear about the publication of the book.Michael P.
I love the idea of this conference and would love to attend. I would also like to present:I teach "Why sculptors need to know mold making, BEFORE they begin their sculpting." And why even stone carvers might want to know mold making as well. As a master sculptor and mold maker I teach mold making, casting and faux finishing; having taught at several universities as well as privately since 1994.Would it be possible for me to present at this conference? I have presented at the I ternational Sculptors Conference in Rhode Island years back Either way, I want to be there. Thank you, Ashi
Hello Ashi,If you'd like to submit a paper the content committee will take a look at it. We'd be interested to see if your proposal would be a good fit with the conference. All the best,Michael P.
I was wondering if decisions about what papers are to be published have already been made.
Hi Kay, Our call for papers deadline is extended to 12th December. If you look at our schedule and our Speakers and Artists page you'll find more information about the papers that have been accepted. All the best, Michael
